This is a great spot in Hyannis. We ordered the Crispy Fried Calamari, Bang Bang Shrimp, Teddy's Meatballs & Lobster Mac and Cheese. Our favorite was the bang bang shrimp. The sauce was amazing. They have a lot of seats and a great view. We were able to make a reservation the same day & were seated right away. Will definitely be back.

Lobster Mac and cheese was bomb but unfortunately we could only eat so much of it Fried seafood platter was yummy. Wished they can accommodate taking out the fish and replacing with atleast another seafood item even if it meant like one piece of shrimp or clam for those who don't eat fish. Friendly service. Nice views of the water!

Tugboats was amazing! We went on a very rainy day yet sit in the covered patio area. I had the delicious short rib grilled cheese and it was so good! My friend had the Bang Bang Sprimp and Lobster chowder. She said it was so good!! Our waitress was so friendly and talked to us throughout the meal! Highly recommend. Nice place on the water for a great lunch or dinner.

In good weather, this is the deck to dine... We (mostly) enjoyed: --described on the menu as "our famous hand cut onion rings with spicy horseradish sauce" were good, but could've been outstanding if they were cooked in fresh oil or a different oil from frying fish as they tasted a bit fishy, especially for my fish averse friend. The horseradish sauce was great. --blackened swordfish was a huge piece perfectly cooked, moist, and tasty. The side of french fries weren't worth eating as they seemed reheated and served barely warm. --steak tips with garlic butter and roasted potatoes were also well prepared. Service was friendly and efficient. Not a fan of valet parking, so we rode around and found a spot nearby.

I can't say enough great things about Tugboats!! We love getting there early to have a drink at the bar before heading to the patio for dinner. The clam chowder and bang bang shrimp are a MUST. But the main event is the hot buttered lobster roll. My most recent trip was even more enjoyable than just incredible food, our server was extremely helpful and friendly and made the entire night so much fun!

Always on a quest to discover the best lobster roll and this one did not disappoint. On par with the best I've had, Tugboats offers a variety of seafood options including lobster rolls and the portion of meat is very generous. The venue itself boasts nice views of the harbor and although cloudy the day we went still offered a really nice ambiance. A section of seating outdoors is covered as well, so even if diners encounter inclement weather you're good to go. The kids menu is also full of options, which is sometimes hard to come by at decent seafood restaurants. The kids option also includes dessert, which was also a bonus. I invoked the dad tax and had some of my kid's macaroni and cheese and it too was among the best I've had. Service was quick and attentive.

Tugboats is one of my favorite restaurants on the Cape. It's consistently delicious and service is solid. Nothing better than sitting out on the deck when the weather is nice. Tugboats can get packed in the peak season, so time your arrival accordingly. They take reservations for larger parties. As for the food, here are my must-gets: - bang bang shrimp - onion rings - lobster quesadilla - lobster mac & cheese Last night I tried the seafood pasta salad (new this season) and was glad I did. It's packed with seafood and veggies, and the dressing is nice and light. Their seafood consistently tastes fresh and is cooked nicely.

Our first night in town and we found tugboats. Best choice we could make. Great service starts with valet parking, pleasant hostess, excellent server. The ambiance was perfect for a seafood restaurant on the pier. Nice view comfortable seating. Best lobster Mac and cheese. Excellent halibut and perfect scallops. If your at the port you must dine here.
